We're
actively recruiting new members!
 Membership in TBBB is on a non-compete
basis. Realistically speaking, we look for ways to be inclusive -- there are a lot of
business opportunities in the Tampa Bay area, and we know there's strength in numbers! We
determine if a prospective member represents direct competition to a TBBB member by asking
members. The final decision is determined by the member whose business interests may be in
conflict with those of a candidate member, and that decision usually is accepted by the
Board of Directors.
While it may seem that some TBBB members offer competing services or
products, we try to find ways to avoid conflict and competition -- sometimes we just don't
advertise all of a member's business services or products within TBBB to avoid competing
with another member.
We also have potential members who ask to be put on a "Waiting
List" to be called if a category becomes available. We do that, too! Most often, a
category opens up when a TBBB member's business demands make it impossible for the member
to attend meetings regularly. Many of these members rejoin the group when the press of
business allows them to schedule our Tuesday meetings once again. And yes, returning
members sometimes have to wait for their category to open again! TBBB holds memberships
